Tara Mitte, Director
Tara directed child care at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Owen for five years and for several years ran her own child care service in her home. She helped with initial planning of this daycare center, was previously our board president, and has been the director since 2014. She is the mother of two children.
The Board
A board of directors makes all policy decisions. Our board consists of seven volunteers from the community, some of whom were involved in inital planning of the center. All are parents and many are grandparents. Members have experience in teaching, nursing, and/or business. The board determines policy and meets monthly at the daycare center. Interested adults are welcome to attend meetings of the board. Please let the director know if you are interested.
Day to day management is done by the director. Teachers and assistant teachers carry out the care of the children. Please contact the director if you have questions or concerns.
Our Commitment
Central Clark County Community Child Care Center, Inc. (7C's Daycare) is a non-profit organization created in 2009 for the sole purpose of providing affordable, flexible, high quality child care for children in central Clark County. We endeavor to provide the best care possible at an affordable price, while compensating our employees adequately for the very important job they do for children.
7C's Daycare offers an enriching and stimulating environment complete with inviting activities to provide for the needs of each individual child. Activities encompass a wide variety of developmentally appropriate practices. An integral component of the activities is to consider the whole child. Social, self-help, cognitive/language, and gross/fine motor skills are all addressed for each age group through proper activities. Learn more about our programs for individual age groups, from 6 weeks to 12 years.
Being non-profit, we are always happy to recieve donations in the form of children's books and toys, equipment, time, and/or money. 7C's Daycare has been determined tax exempt by the IRS. We will be happy to issue receipts for donations. All donations are tax deductible.
